Beat Frutiger, oder Fru, wie er sich nennt, war Kunstlehrer, ist pensioniert und lebt in Kaiseraugst in der Nähe von Basel. Seine beiden bevorzugten Techniken sind seit vielen Jahrzehnten die Bodypainting Fotografie und die ostasiatische Tuschemalerei. Seit kurzer Zeit vereinigt er stilistisch diese beiden Techniken. Auf Facebook und youtube postet er ab und zu unter #vomfrudashaiku Erlebnisse und Gedanken zu Themen, die für ihn gerade aktuell sind. Auf diese Weise hat Fru in den Monaten des Shutdown März / April 2020 zwölf Bilder mit den Haiku Versen geschaffen. Sie nehmen alle Bezug zu seinem ganz persönlichen Alltag und zur Berichterstattung in den Medien. Gleichsam im Dialog mit den Bildern, dem aktuellen Weltgeschehen und der Berichterstattung darüber sind am Schluss die Kommentare dazu entstanden. // Beat Frutiger, or Fru as he calls himself, was an art teacher, is retired and lives in Kaiseraugst near Basel. Recently he has been stylistically combining these two techniques. From time to time he posts experiences and thoughts on topics that are currently relevant to him on Facebook under #vomfrudashaiku.. In this way Fru created the 12 pictures with the verses, especially during the months of the shutdown in March and April. They all relate to his very personal everyday life and to media reports. At the end, the comments on the pictures were created, as it were in a dialogue with the pictures, the current world events and the reporting on them.
