If freedom could speak, what would it say? What advice would it offer to America, this once vibrant envy of the world that has succumbed to spiritual, moral, and political decay to the point that liberty itself now hangs in the balance?
In Returning to Egypt, freedom IS given a voice through a character rightly named Freedom who challenges America to question whether history would applaud her NEW direction as a path that leads to prosperity, or warn that it is enticing her back into a less savage form of slavery. Freedom urges America to be studious, yet quick, for the divide has come and gone leaving one foot struggling to hold to the path of democracy while the other is feverishly pulling aside. Soon, straddling will soon be impossible!
While all eyes remain fixed on politics and government, Freedom is busy uncovering hidden truths which, if revealed, will light the way for American prosperity independent of government intervention. Will America heed Freedom's call or will she plug her ears and babble incoherently as a child who is drowning out a message they refuse to hear?
