An ancient prophecy speaks of a time of war and calls for a warrior: the only one able to save the world from a time of imminent darkness and an incredible force of evil. The time has come for the warrior to arise, and that is where Sheer comes into play. Sheer is a song sparrow, who wakes with no memory and no hearing, but with strange abilities and visions that he does not understand. He begins a search for his past that becomes a quest to win the war against evil. All he knows is that a mysterious darkness has taken over a snake, a crow, and a wolf, intending the destruction of everything that is good. Sheer must learn to overcome his struggles, master his abilities, distinguish friend from foe, and have faith in the darkest of times. In the end, he must choose a side and find motivation to continue even when all hope seems lost. Will he ever rise as the Silent Warrior, in time to fulfill the prophesy of old?
