Yu opera, originated in Kaifeng, Henan Province, is one of the five major operas in China [1]. Based on Henan opera, Henan opera has been developed continuously by inheritance, reform and innovation. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Henan opera was called Henan opera for short.
Henan Opera is famous for its sonorous singing, restrained, smooth, clear articulation, mellow charm, lively, flesh and blood, and good at expressing the inner feelings of the characters. It is widely welcomed by people of all walks of life with its high artistry. Because its music accompaniment was clapped with jujube wood clapper, it was named Henan clapper in the early stage.
